When we run our prosthetics they don't always come out 100% perfect. These things can often happen where the colour isn't quite right, the cap plastic might tear or the quality just isn't up to our high standards.
However, we hate to through these pieces away and we find that with a little bit more attention and creativity, all these "reject pieces" can still be used.
We recommend that these pieces be bought by more experienced SFX artists who know how to apply without perfect edges, patch pieces together or use them for different purposes.
These pieces might also work for newbies who are looking to practice application and painting and don't want to pay full price for perfect pieces.
We always try and be as green as possible and so we hope to find new homes for these reject pieces somewhere.
